The local residents on Lake Edward in Katwe Kabatoro town council in Kasese district have been encouraged to impress fish cage farming if they are to improve and protect fish production in the district.
Speaking to this radio at her office in at the district headquarters yesterday, the Kasese district Secretary for Production, marketing and natural resources, Hon. Catherine Muhindo said that her campaign for fish farming was demonstrated by her support of two fish cages to members of Katwe-Kabatoro Mahonde Kihabule loaders association to improve fish production after fishings on the lake was restricted.
