Kithulha Cares Initiative has distributed Forty Bags of Disease-resistant cassava cuttings to residents of Wasewanaba cell in Kirembe Ward, Kasese Municipality.
The Vice chairperson local council one for Kirembe cell, Mr.Aganatiya Bwambale Lhuhalha commended the Association for the timely intervention shortly after witnessing the handover of cassava cuttings to farmers yesterday at Wasewanaba trading centre , adding that the cassava was resistant to drought. Hon. Agaba Sylvia, the female district councilor representing Bulembia and Central divisions in Kasese Municipality, said the donation was in line with Government Manifesto to boost food security, therefore appealing to the beneficiaries to plant cassava cuttings this season.
