Residents of Hima T/C have been urged to form Sacco’s to benefit on gov't programs

Residents of Hima town council in Kasese District have been urged to form Sacco’s in order to benefit on government programs.

Speaking at the 14^th commemoration of Hima Community Sacco at Hima Playground early this week, Mr. Moses Talemwa, the secretary for works and technical services, said Government is set to support organized groups with grants through the Parish development Model.

Mr.Robert Dramani, the chairperson Board Hima Community Sacco said currently the Sacco stands at asset value of 2.2 billion shillings.

He said Hima Community Sacco also operates in the town councils of Katwe-Kabatoro and Rugendabara. END.
