Residents of Buhuhira Sub County in Kasese District who were affected by mudslides have asked the government to provide food relief.
The most affected areas are Kigharama, Ntunga and Kuruhe. Now the residents want the government to come to their rescue.
Erinora Tswende, one of the survivors from Kigharama village said the government has not given them any food relief since the disaster hit.
Erinora who is caring for over 16 grandchildren says they are already starving since her family gardens were washed away by the heavy rains.
