The local council two chairperson for Kahendero Ward in Muhokya town council in Kasese district, Mr. Elly Baranaba Asiimwe has expressed his disappointment over failure by the district to include his community on the relief aid list even when they are hit by floods.
Speaking to our reporter shortly after handing over to the Kasese RDC a request letter for relief aid yesterday, Mr. Baranaba who was concerned about a likely disease outbreak over the flooded pit-latrines in his ward, asked the Kasese district leadership to liaise with Uganda National Roads Authority to redirect waters from what he called box culverts along the Kasese-Kikorongo highway to minimize the effects.
