Mr. Paul Walakira, the Kasese district Chief Administrative Officer, is safe, alive and in office, the Kasese District Vice Chairperson, Hon. Girivazio Monday has confirmed.
In a shocking interview with Kasese Guide Radio at his office yesterday, the seeming scared Mr. Erifaz Muhindi, the district chair said Mr. Walakira who had left the district for some clarifications at the Equal Opportunity Commission in Kampala about ten days ago, had never been seen neither received cellphone calls from the district leadership, his family and line ministry.
Speaking to Our Reporter at his office this afternoon, Hon. Girivazio who doubles as the district councilor representing workers, declined to give any details about the incident he said was partly forced by domestic challenges but expressed his excitement on seeing their Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Walakira whose whereabouts had put the district headquarters at tension.
