Mr. Mustafa Kikusa, the Principal Secretary office of the Chief Administrative Officer Kasese district has warned civil servants against late coming and absenteeism saying they risk, losing their jobs.
His comments followed a concern by Mr. John Buhaka, the Local council one chairperson Nyangonge Village in Maliba sub-county, where he reported that civil servants posted to government institutions in rural sub-counties allegedly abscond duty. Mr. Buhaka speaking……
Kikusa asked the local council one leadership to always monitor government institutions in their areas and present a report to sub-county chiefs, who will later submit them to the chief administrative officer for action.
Kikusa said government has enhanced salaries for some civil servants, the era of sitting home or doing private work at the end of the month civil servants take free government money is now over. END.
