Rev. Fr. Richard Sausi Businge, the chaplain for the Association of the Religious in Uganda- Kasese chapter has encouraged the Religious to stay united to walk the light of Christ.
In his homily while presiding over Holy Mass at St. Pope Paul Memorial Center that closed the celebration of the world day of the concreted Men and women, Fr. Sausi who called for unity among different congregations for the mission of Christ, asked the religion to live exemplary to light the world.
Fr. Sausi later asked the religions men and women to reflect on their vocation and humanity, keep in the light of Christ against many temptations that keep putting them to test. Fr. Sausi speaking …..
He also encouraged Christians to practice their faith to light the world or else they will misguide God’s people.
Brother Alex Makanika from the congregation of the St. Joseph the Worker said the day reminds them of their vows and commitment to serve Christ, before encouraging the youth to be focused for the pride of their families and communities. Bro Makanika speaking ……
The Association Chairperson, Sr. Christine from the congregation of the Lady of the Good Counsel, called for teamwork and love among the religious.
Other congregations in the diocese of Kasese represented included; Banyatereza Sisters, Little Sister of the presentation of Mary in the temple, Oblate Sister- Kistwamba Parish and Banakaroli brothers among others. END
