The Senior Presidential advisor on Rwenzori affairs, Mrs. Christine Muhindo has asked local leaders to integrate messages for routine voluntary medical examinations into their political mobilization addresses to guarantee the health of community members.
In an interview with this radio last evening, Ms Christine was concerned about the practice of most community members consulting medics only when they are sick, adding this gives space for non-communicable diseases that have taken many lives unawares.
She also called for hard work among members of the community as a measure to minimize poverty levels. Mrs. Christine speaking……
