The Kasese Municipal Mayor His Worship Chance Kahindo has asked council to appoint a committee to investigate the alleged recruitment and transfer of civil servants by the Municipal town clerk, Mr. Goefrey Bamanyisa.
It’s alleged that Mr. Bamanyisa reportedly recruited sixteen civil servants and transferred others without consultation from service commission.
In his state of affairs during council session held yesterday at the Municipal council hall, Mr. Chance asked the Municipal speaker, Hon.Ukash Swaibu Musenene to establish a committee that would help investigate the allegations of recruitment and accountability of 36 million shillings allocated to facilitate training of two Municipal civil servants on safety and environment under USMID project before making resolutions about the allegations.
