The Office of the RDC Kasese district has directed all cattle traders from Uganda to stop exporting cattle directly to DRC but sell from Mpondwe Customs Boarder market in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council.

The Deputy RDC Mr. Joshua Masereka said in joint meeting for Ugandan cattle dealers held yesterday at Customs-Checkpoint that the directive takes immediate effect from this morning, as a way to enable Uganda resident’s access business opportunities to boost their livelihood.
