The Resident District Commissioner, Lt. Joe Walunsimbi has asked group members to emphasize discipline against politics of selfishness if their membership was to be relevant to the community.
Presiding over the launch for Hearts of Gold-Kasese Forum at Bwiranda Hotel in Kasese Municipality over the weekend, Lt. Walunsimbi who emphasized disciplined, unity and transparency among the group members, called on the forum leadership to put their constitution to practice, support government programs and desist from politics of divisionism he described as disastrous.
Lt. Walunsimbi who donated ten plastic chairs and four T-shirts to the group, pledged total support to the newly created forum he asked to be united and development focused if they were to deliver to the local community. Lt. Walunsimbi speaking1…..
In his report earlier, Mr. Sam Baluku, the chairperson of the forum said after the registration exercise and the forum launch scheduled for January and March respectively, mobilization for financial support and a youth conference are their future activities mainly in the months of April and June this year. When asked about the origin of the forum, Mr. Chris Kaghuntura, a founder member said the colloquy was basically for burden and success sharing by members for purposes of living as a united family. END.
