The Kasese Resident District Commissioner, Lt. Joe Walunsimbi has demanded for an accountability report related to the expenditure of Capitation Grant amounting of about four shillings million shillings to Buhunga Primary School in Bulembia Division in Kasese Municipality.
The demand by the Kasese RDC follow the yesterday’s remarks by the Division local council three Chairperson, Mr. Richard Bomera, who said Buhunga Primary School was running without a working budget despite funding by the government of Uganda and has no fully instituted School Management Committee since last year. The School’s Head teacher, Mr. Johnson Baluku Tera who said delay for a minutes had forced the situation, acknowledged having been withdrawing and spending U.P.E funds using the alternative signature but that all monies are in their right votes and accounted for.
