    RDC Walusimbi breaks construction of a Neonatal unit at Bwera General Hospital

    The Kasese Resident District Resident Commissioner, Lt. Joe Walunsimbi has commended development partners for their unreserved support in backing the government of Uganda against her health challenges in the country.

    Officiating at the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a Neonatal unit at Bwera General Hospital in Kasese district, Lt. Walunsimbi who commended Baylor-Uganda and the Japanese government for their interventions mainly the pandemics, was appreciative for funding the facility. Lt. Walunsimbi speaking……

    Dr. Dethan Kiranga, the Executive Director for Baylor-Uganda called for total ownership and support to the facility to motivate development partners for more funding before revealing that the Japanese government has interest in the facility he said they will closely monitor.

    The excited Medical Superintendent for Bwera hospital, Dr. Mary Munyangwa described the facility as a relief to the facility that has been hosting multiple babies on a single bed, a situation she called un healthy.

    She also called for expedited plans to supply the hospital with an ambulance, adding that the recently donated double cabin under Covid-19 funding, isn’t enough. Dr. Mary speaking……..
