Kasese Resident District Commissioner Lt. Joe Walunsimbi has urged people that have encroached, cultivated and settled in wetlands, forestry reserves and river banks to leave them peacefully and save the district from disaster.
The RDC’s advice follows the district disaster occurrences that normally happen in May during heavy rains.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio at his office last evening, Lt. Walunsimbi called for collaborated effort now that alleged signs of Nyamwamba River may turn into danger to the community.
