The Kasese RDC, Lt Joe Walusimbi has commissioned the maternity ward at Nyamirami health centre four in Muhokya Sub County, Kasese district with a call on the local community to fully utilize and protect the facility .
Speaking to Our reporter shortly after commissioning the facility, Lt. Walusimbi who said that drugs to fit the current status of the facility would soon be supplied by government added that whereas there afew minor issues to rectify with the theatre, the facility was ready to handle a number of health needs of a health center four that the community should make use of.

The health inspector for Kasese district Mr. Stephen Bagonza who represented the Kasese district health officer, Dr. Yusuf Baseke said now that the theater is complete and supplied with water, the facility would liaise with other health facilities for supplies as they wait for July when government would begin giving them all that is required. The health In-charge, Dr. Edward Kule said some expectant mothers were being limited by the facility space. He also warned them against leaning much to the traditional birth attendants but also attend antenatal to safeguard their deliveries. Dr. Edward speaking……
One of the Pregnant mothers who was at the facility Ms Juliet Muhindo of Kahokya village hailed district leadership and Government of Uganda for putting up theatre she said was being had of as a mere dreams.
