    RDC Kasese summons DEO-Kasese to make a statement on education status in the district

    Kasese Resident District Commissioner Lt. Joe Walunsimbi has summoned the District Education officer Mr. Goerge Mayinja to his office to make a statement on the status of education in the district.

    Addressing the media at his office last evening Lt. Walusimbi says, that the steps taken by the district boss Erifaz Muhindi to have five teachers and head teacher at Kaswa Primary school arrested and detained at Kasese Divisional headquarters over absenteeism signified the gap in Education department.Lt.     Lt. Walusimbi who seems bitter about absenteeism of civil servants, bounced back Lake Katwe sub-county chief, Mr.Philip Isejemba yesterday who had come to his office to deliver a report about head teachers of government aided primary schools that performed badly in Pre-PLE Exams.

    Walunsimbi summoned the implicated civil servants including, Sejemba, head teachers, Mweya and Hamukungu parish chiefs to his office this morning at 9.00am. Lt. Walunsimbi two on summon….
