Lt. Maate Magwara, the Kasese Deputy Resident District Commissioner, has called for calm among the Kasese people over the graffiti suggesting a planned attack on Bukonzo County West by the Allied Democratic Forces.
Lt. Magwara’s response on Kasese Guide Radio’s popular program, Good Morning Rwenzori’ today, follows an alleged anonymous write up at a home reportedly by a suspected separatist who threatened to attack the people of Kasese, mainly along the Uganda-DR Congo border.
In the same interview, Lt. Magwara called for improved neighborhood watch, vigilance and timely reports to security by members of the community now that the Uganda People’s Defence Forces and her sister security agencies were fully in charge of the situation at the Uganda-DR Congo border line.
