The rampant theft of electric wires and cassava by yet to be identified people in Rukoki sub-county, Kasese district has turned into disastrous, the LC 3 Chairperson, Mr. Emmy Kitsama has said.
Kitsama who attributed the act to laziness, urged the community to engage in active production than resorting to theft that puts their lives at risk.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio last evening, Mr.Kitsama identified the most affected villages as, Kabughabugha and Mungu among others.
