The National Resistance Movement Electoral Commission has declared singer Daniel Kazibwe also known as Ragga Dee as the party’s official candidate for the Kampala Lord Mayoral race, after a fresh tally of votes. Ragga Dee had lost the bid to Ssebaana Kizito in polls held on September 11.
A senior official in the NRM Electoral Commission Jane Alisemera Babiiha announced Mr. Kazibwe as the winner after garnering 56, 877 compared to 15,939 by Mr. Kizito.
Ms Alisemera said that the results announced are the official results after re tallying yesterday after the results tallied by their registrar couldn’t tally. Ms Alisemera speaking……..
