Meanwhile, Mr. Pimako Kasereka, the Nyamwamba Division local council three chairperson has asked People living with disabilities in his area to belong to groups now that government like her development partners, wasn’t ready to fund individuals.
Mr. Pimako who had shortly been in a consultative meeting with the leadership of the PWDs, said abandonment, exploitation, failure to belong to groups and loss of hope are some of the challenges faced by this vulnerable category of people he asked his Community Development Officer to journey with if they were to benefit from government programs.
