Over seventy pupils who left to Kazi scouts Campsite in Wakiso District last week to represent Kasese District at the National Scouts Jamborine competitions are progressing well, Kasese Guide Radio has learnt.
On a telephone interview today with the team leader, Mr. John Rugarama who also doubles as the District inspector of schools in charge of scouting, the participants have so far won in traditional folck dance and managed to reach semifinals in ball games for both girls and boys among others. According to him, the Vice President of Uganda Jesca Alupo is expected to close Jamborine competitions this morning in Kazi. END
