Dr. Chrispas Kiyonga, the Chancellor for Makerere University has urged the public to engage in Agriculture and business for food security and household income.
He said the syndrome of People spending time languishing on trading centers that they have nothing to do should be disregarded in communities, saying Government has created an enabling environment for people to engage in Production.
In an interview with Kasese Guide Radio recently, Dr. Kiyonga, who described Bukonzo West Constituency as a gifted area where Mpondwe-Boarder Expo is located, wondered why people were not tapping the available opportunities. Dr. Kiyonga one speaking….
Dr. Kiyonga who said the business community from the neighboring districts were accumulating wealth from Kasese district through multiple businesses, called for mindset change among the locals.
