Lt. Maate Magwara, the Deputy Resident District Commissioner for Bukonzo County in Kasese District, has called on the public to embrace organic farming as a means to improve food security and nutrition.

While addressing a gathering during an organic farming product marketing exhibition organized by the Great Lakes Farmers Association, held in Kisinga Central Cell, Kisinga Town Council, Lt. Magwara emphasized that food security is fundamental to community development.
He encouraged the public to actively conserve nature for the benefit of future generation, stressing that organic farming promotes good health, improves household income, and enhances overall community security.
