Rev. Fr. Balinandi Kambale, a renowned writer and African culture icon in the Diocese of Kasese, has warned elders against living selfishly but rather share their knowledge to preserve their legacy.
In an interview with our reporter at the Bishop’s office yesterday, the Lhukonzo writer who called for the promotion of guided herbal medicine use, asked the older people to protect their legacy by training and guiding the youth they live with.
He also asked the young people to make good use and have zeal to properly speak their local languages as a way of protecting their cultures. Fr. Balinandi speaking….
He later described good feeding as a health hub against diseases, adding that low immunity is sometimes caused by poor feeding by some community members. Rev. Fr. Balinandi speaking2…….
Celebrating his 50 years as a priest in December this year, Fr. Balinandi argued the local community against apportioning blame but rather abide by the technical guidance to neutralize the effects of disasters. END
