Dr. Agatha Tummine, the President of the Association of French Language Teachers in Uganda has underscored the need to promote foreign languages like French for purposes of exposing learners and making them internationally relevant.

Ms. Jacqueline Mujungu Kabugho, the Kasese municipal education inspector, asked curriculum developers for plans to have French and Kiswahili languages taught in primary and not only in secondary schools, as means to add value and expose learners internationally.
