Kasese Chief Magistrate Court at Kasese district has again remand until 5th March, 2024, Mr. Jackson Muhindo Kasulenge over two accounts of Murder.
Court Presided over by the Chief magistrate, Her Worship Betty Ajok heard that while in Kamughobe one village in Kisinga sub county in Kasese district, the accused murdered his wife, the late Mary Biira Shamim and his brother late Kabutusi Kasulenge.
Speaking to Our reporter shortly after court, the Resident State Attorney for Kasese, Mr. Geoffrey Oundo said the state is preparing enough evidence to have Mr. Kasulenge and others committed to high court for speedy justice.
Mr. Rujjumba Mulwahali, the late Shamim’s father and a local resident of Isango cell in Kithoma –Kanyatsi town council commended the could for the manner in which the case is being handled, adding that what he calls the justified lawfully treatment to the accused, will serve as an example to the rest of other Ugandans who intend to live above the law.

Mr. Daniel Kasulenge Bahati, the elder brother to late Kabutusi Kasulenge, the first close relative to the accused to appear at court, said he was satisfied with the way court was handling the matter, before praying for speedy justice against the accused he described as a mess and a liability to their family. Just last year, a nephew to Mr. Kasulenge, the accused was arrested at the home of the accused reportedly perfuming rituals that would force the unconditional release from prison of his uncle. END.
