The body of Prof. Arthur Muhindo Syahuka, reknown researcher, has been laid to rest at his ancestral home in Kyabolokya cell in Mpondwe Lhubiriha town council in Kasese district with a call on Christians to emulate the deceased who many describe as an academic white cane.
Presiding over the requiem service yesterday, Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku, the Bishop South Rwenzori Diocese, described the deceased as an educationist and library whose approaches to education need to be consulted by parents and guardians in Kasese.

In his address to the mourners, the Rwenzururu Kingdom Premier, Rt. Hon. Baritazale Benson Kule, asked the kingdom subjects to practice the five pillars of rebranding cultural institution for reconciliation, peace and unity that are partly compromised by land conflicts in the district as witnessed by land claimants currently camped at the Kasese RDC’s office.
