Private Robert Miyaga opened fire and shot Edward Musaasizi, the Chairperson of Lutovu Village in Malongo Sub County in Lwengo district and Jacqueline Asasira along Kampala road next to Byansi Pharmacy in Masaka town this afternoon.
According to eye witnesses, Miyaga trailed the duo up to Byansi Pharmacy where they had gone to buy drugs.
He opened fire at his victims as they were boarding a motorcycle killing Musasizi on the spot before the deceased died shortly after being rushed to Masaka Regional Referral hospital.
