    Prioritize garbage collection to keep Kasese town clean.

    An estimated fifty two tons of garbage was reportedly collected in Kasese Municipality during yesterday`s(18th.March.2021) sanitation day with a call on the community to advocated for proper garbage disposal measures, the Kasese district health inspector, Mr. Steven Bagonza has said.

    Speaking to the press shortly after the cleaning exercise, Mr. Bagonza called for a mindset change by the community members who dispose garbage their way.

    He also described garbage management as a collective role so as to tame diseases that are fueled dirty environment. Mr. Bagonza speaking……

    The Kasese district Environmental officer, Mr. Augustine Kooli asked the Kasese district community to use this national water week to protect water bodies but also turn them into avenues to transform their lives. Mr. Kooli speaking………..

    The National water week will be celebrated at the Boma grounds in Kasese today under the theme, “Good sanitation and hygiene for strengthening COVID 19 response“. END
