President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni yesterday toured River Nyamwamba Valley in Kilembe in Kasese district to assess the damages caused by the recent Floods with a warning on members of the public against interfering with God’s creation including environment he says will continue behaving deadly should the community fail to live with it as required.
Kasese guide radio has reliably learnt that President Museveni who sympathizes with the people of Kasese district for countless loss caused by the floods pledged to send Machinery that would permanently and periodically deal with the valley he says was turning a life threat.
The Kasese Municipal Mayor, His Worship Godfrey Kabyanga who attended the district Rukoki meeting of about twenty seven selected people including the Presidential team said that the head of State also pledged more relief items for the affected families.
According to Mr. Kabyanga, President Museveni plans a construction and rehabilitation program for the property destroyed after finding the safety of the affected people.
Speaking to Kasese Guide radio, the Kasese district Chairperson tipped Kasese Guide radio that the President plans to send water, civil Engineers and other related brains to make assessment of the water sources in Kasese for a lasting solution. Mr. Bigogo speaking…..
