President Yoweri Museveni has appealed to the women under the Mothers’ Union to encourage Christians to embrace Wealth creation and Universal Education programs.
On Sunday, President Yoweri Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni graced the closing ceremony for the Annual Mothers’ Union Conference for the Buganda Region held at Timnah Schools in Luwero town council from Thursday till yesterday.
President Yoweri Museveni said that he was impressed that the Mothers Union had awakened the Christians to work for prosperity and asked them to embrace government wealth initiatives which include the Parish Development Model and Emyooga. President Museveni speaking……
Earlier, Ms Josephine Kasaato, the President of the Mothers’ Union for Buganda region, appreciated President Museveni for the 500 hundred million shillings pledge for their programs and that women had re-affirmed their faith in religion and acquired skills in economic empowerment. END
