The Diocese of Kasese-Kolping family, has joined the rest of the world in praying for the Canonization of Blessed Fr. Adolph Kolping with call on members to work hard.
Kolping international which is a Catholic social organization founded in 1850 by the priest and social reformer, Adolph Kolping, who was beatified by Pope John Paul II on 27 Oct 1991 at St. Peter s Square.
In his speech shortly after presiding over Holy Mass at Uganda Martyrs-Nyakasanga Carholic Chuech today, the Ordinary of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira who called for hard work to generate incomes that gossiping, asked the members to emulate the founder of the organization who mobilized his fellow youth for a noble change in the church shortly after being ordained a priest. The National Kolping President, Mr. Peter Golobe, commended the Bishop for their national celebrations in Kasese, adding that supporting skills, service delivery and savings, is their mandated to empower Christians against poverty to ably support the Church.

The Kasese Diocesan Chaplain, Rev. Fr. John Baptist Kule announced St. Egidio Katsungiru in Nsenyi Parish, as next to host the celebrations.
Over 7 million shillings was collected in cash for the cathedral construction. END
