The Bishop of Fort-portal Diocese, Rt. Rev. Robert Muhiirwa Akiiki has urged Christians to pray for the intercession and inspirations of the Holy Martyrs of Uganda so as to practice virtues of Catholicism and stick to the truth and love that Christ teaches them about.
In his homily while presiding over the sacrifice of Mass at the Uganda Catholic Martyrs shrine Namugongo during the Mbarara Ecclesiastical province Association pilgrimage animated by Fort Portal Diocese yesterday, Bishop Muhirwa who encouraged Christians to learn more from the Uganda Martyrs, argued believers in Christ against pride, anger, laziness in faith and failure to share and respect others of who they are for peace. He said young Martyrs especially St. Mugaga, St. Kizito and St. Gavira, were models of faith that the young people especially students ought to learn from.
