Six Deacons have been ordained to the order of priesthood, expanding the Holy Cross Clergy in the Holy Cross Province of East Africa.
In his homily, Bishop Robert Muhirwa emphasized the importance of the three vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience professed, urging the newly ordained priests to embrace a simple lifestyle in a world dominated by rush for wealth and corruption by selfish people.
Rev. Fr. Peter Mayanja CSC, the Provincial Superior of the Holy Cross Province of East Africa, expressed gratitude to Bishop Muhiirwa for ordaining the deacons into priesthood and encouraged the new priests to undertake their responsibilities with faith in God.
Rev. Fr. Martin Kule, speaking on behalf of the newly ordained, expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported them financially, spiritually, and emotionally, calling for continued prayers to help them serve the people of God faithfully. Rev. Fr. Martin speaking……
The newly ordained priests include; Rev. Fr. Douglas Alinaitwe CSC from Hoima Diocese, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Isabirye CSC from Jinja, Rev. Fr. Herimence Ahimbisibwe CSC from Kyarusozi Fort Portal Diocese, and Rev. Fr. Martin Kule CSC from Kasese Diocese Others are; Rev. Fr. Innocent Ahuniriza CSC from Fort Portal Diocese, and Rev. Fr.
