Hon. Racheal Kabugho, the Kasese District woman councilor representing Kahokya, Muhokya town council and sub-county has blamed the low education levels in the greater Muhokya to poverty she largely attributes to high domestic expenditures as a result of polygamous marriages that translate into high number of children per single family.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio this morning, Hon. Racheal who was concerned about low income levels as a result of poor harvesting seasons by the farming dominated community, went further to blame low education levels in the area to absentee fathers who leave donkey work to their vulnerable wives back home.
