The Kitswamba Catholic Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Charles Kagheni Muhindo has asked political contestants and their supporters to accept the outcome of the poll and not to treat elections as a do or die game that the losers force into violence.
Addressing Christians shortly after Holy Mass during the third Sunday in the ordinary time year B yesterday, Fr. Kagheni said that politicians who lost should emulate Jesus` disciples whose Master advised to put back the nets into the water at a time they had lost hope over failure to get any fish.
Fr. Kagheni who asked the Xtians to pray for the successful political players argued the losers to try against like the Jesus`s Apostles did on the lake until they success Fr. Kagheni speaking 1 …….
He also commended Xtians for maintaining peace, harmony and unity during the polls which he said do not render them useless but to give them chance to lead next time.. Fr. Kagheni speaking 2 ……
