    Politicians are now thinking deeper about newly applicability of scientific campaigns.

    Some Politicians in Kasese like elsewhere in Uganda have to think deeper about the applicability of the newly announced scientific campaigns announced by the electoral commission to curb the spread of COVID 19 pandemic.

    Electoral Commission Chairman Justice Simon Mugenyi Byabakama announced on Tuesday that in order to comply with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health to limit the spread of Coronavirus Disease COVID-19, the only campaign mode that will be allowed is using the media for all the candidates seeking elective positions.

    Earlier, the opposition political players had threatened to sue government in courts of law should the President postpone for his benefit the elections over COVID-19 but now say the new guidelines is an escort to Museveni`s victory.
