    Political leaders from Bukonzo County west have urged LCs to implement President’s directive order on corona virus.

    A section of political leaders from Bukonzo County west Kasese district, have asked LC 1,s and their committees to implement the executive order issued by president Museveni against Corona Virus.

    During a joint press conference held at Bwera Opinion offices in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council this afternoon, the Constituency LC 3 chairpersons Mr. James Nyawathekwa said the leaders are mandated to explain to the people on the guidelines of Corona Virus.

    Nyawathekwa said for sub-counties bordering DRC should intensify boarder control and restrict public gatherings as part of preventive measures against Covid-19.

    The Sub-county Chairperson Nyakiyumbu, Mr. Sunday Peter Kakule, asked for consorted efforts among stakeholders against Corona virus pandemic.

    Agaba Wilson, the Chairperson LC 3 Isango Sub-County cautioned electorates against mixing politics with Corona Virus.

    Earlier, the Vice Chairperson Kitholhu Sub-County Ms.Damali Nyabongo had asked parents to ensure proper health and Hygiene of their children in homesteads.
