Two out of twenty people who were shortlisted for interviews of Police Probation constables in Kasese district missed this morning, Kasese Guide Radio has learnt.
Rwenzori East Region Police spokesperson, ASP Nelson Tumushime told a press conference at Kasese Multipurpose hall shortly after fitness test that recruitment of police personnel was on merit.
ASP Tumushime explained that recruitment was based on Qualification of a Uganda Certificate of Education-UCE, National ID, Fitness and no criminal record among others.
