Rwenzori East Region Police Spokesperson SP. Luke Mbusa has organized a community Policing meeting on Saturday between residents of Mumbuzi cell in Kasese Municipality and Mr. Robert Kariste, accused with those perceived to be security operatives to selfishly frame and beat their sons and daughters.
SP. Mbusa said community policing is a system for developing trust and understanding between the people who live in a particular area and police to reduce crime in that area.
He said during the meeting that will be joined by the District Police Commander and other high ranking officials, residents and Kariste shall be allowed to express their views and an audit will be done.

SP.Luke who also doubles as the community liaisons officer, called for calm among the local residents in the area.
