Police in Rwenzori East Region has registered an increase in cases of child negligence that translate into an influx of school dropouts and street-kids in many areas.
SP Nelson Tumushiime, the Rwenzori East Region police spokesperson, who said the increase in the cases of child negligence were as a result of raising cases of domestic violence, called for parental care, faithfulness, love and focus among married couples as means to have amicable resolution of family disagreements.
