Police in Karusandara sub-county Kasese district is holding a 52 year old woman on allegation of dealing in counterfeit.
No official comment yet from police but the chairperson LC3 Karusandara sub-county, Mr. Charles Mukiiza confirmed the information and identified the suspect as Veni Kashamire a resident of Mumbuzi cell in Nyamwamba division Kasese Municipality.
Mukiiza said Ms. Kashamire and another one on run whose motorcycle was impounded are alleged to have been supplying counterfeit money in Kanamba and Kabuga trading centers.

Ms.Kashemire, the suspect told Kasese guide radio that her currency was good wondering how the local community pounced on her as she attempted to buy commodities in a nearby shop last evening.Ms. Kashemire the suspect……
