The Police have launched investigations into the murder of a woman and her five-year old child in Mpererwe, Wakiso district.
On Sunday, the Police in Kawempe arrested a 26-year old security guard, David Ssebulime, in relation to the murder of Cathy Nakate and her daughter.
Ssebulime allegedly strangled Nakate and her daughter on Saturday in a suspected crime of passion, the Police said.
According to detectives privy to the investigations, Ssebulime and Nakate are believed to have been in a love relationship.
The Police found the bodies in Ssebulime’s room at a business centre in Mpererwe, where he worked as a guard.
The suspect is being held at kawempe police station as investigations continues. ENDS
