Police has finalized plans to round up all street kids in Kasese municipality effective next week, ASP Nelson Tumusiime, the police spokesperson for Rwenzori East region has said.
Speaking to Kasese Guide radio at the Regional headquarters in Kasese this afternoon, ASP Tumushime said street kids had turned into a security threat and time was ripe for them either to be sent back to their families or remand homes.
He also reminded the people of Kasese to be vigilant against the ADF, an active terrorist group operating in the neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo. ASP Tumusiime speaking……
