Police has handed over to the family the body of a 55 year old man who reportedly drowned in the KCCL hydro power water channel, Kasese Guide Radio has learnt.
The Police Community Liaisons Officer for Rwenzori East Region, SP Luke Mbusa confirmed the information yesterday and identified the deceased as Mr. Koroneri Kibaya, a resident of Kifumbira cell in Mubuku town council in Kasese district.

Mr. Sedrack who warned the locals against using porous routes across the water channel, blames the situation to those he call selfish individuals who keep vandalizing the fence along the channel.
