Two concerned residents of Kirembe ward in Kasese Municipality have thought police’s intervention into the increasing road carnage in Kyababinga along Kasese-Mbarara Highway.
Mr. Misairi Thembo Kahungu and Mr. Livingstone Zunguka all residents of Kyababinga say the number of people who have lost their lives in road accidents in the area are scaring.
Mr. Kahungu explained that initially Kyababinga area was not a residential area but now that it is inhabitable, traffic police should intervene into the issue by deploying patrol police at a place currently known as black spot with accidents occurring in quick succession.

For Mr. Zunguka explained that the deployment of police along the black spot will deter drivers from overspending and in return, the rate of accidents would reduce. Mr. Zunguka on accidents speaking…….
In unison, the two concerned residents told the press at Verina Gardens that the latest road accident that occurred at Kyababinga has a left a boda boda rider amputated following the Saturday incident. END
