SP. Nelson Tumusime, the Rwenzori East Regional Police Spokesperson, has called upon relatives of those who were shot dead during raids by unknown assailants on Kasese and Rugendabara Police installations to come and identify the bodies at Muhoti Mortuary in Fort Portal Tourism City for a decent burial.

Addressing the press today at the Regional Police Headquarters, SP Tumusime urged relatives to bring proper identification documents, including an LC1 introductory letter, a National Identity Card, and a recent photograph of the deceased, to help police verify their relationship with the deceased. SP Tumusime, commended the public for their cooperation with the Police during the weekend raids by panga-wielding attackers, in which 19 assailants were put out of action and 40 others arrested to assist with investigations. END
