Police in Kasese is holding a one Mr. Paul Muhindo Kibonge, a resident of Nyamwamba East cell in Kasese Municipality on allegation of buying stolen items from criminal gangs allied to Gaza strip.
Rwenzori East Region Police spokesperson, SP.Luke Mbusa confirmed the information saying the suspect was arrested in his shop in Kizungu cell, Kasese Municipality to help with police investigations.
SP Luke, revealed that at least twenty houses are reported to have been broken into by criminal gangs belonging to Gaza strip last night in Nyakasanga.
Luke who said police has intensified patrols in Kasese Municipality, called for vigilance and information sharing with security about suspected criminals. SP. Luke speaking….
Mr. Kamalha Paddy, the chairperson local council one for Nyamwamba west cell and his counterpart, Jafali Kigutiha for Basecamp lower cell told Kasese Guide Radio in a separate interview that five crates of beer and soft drinks were discovered in the house of Ms.Joice Mbambu, the land landlord for the alleged Gaza Commanders.
