No fatality was registered by press time after a Kasese-Kampala bound bus belonging to Pokopoko Bus Company got involved in a road accident near Rwimi river valley in Rugendabara-Kikongo town council in Kasese district.
No official comment yet from police but Mr. Wilfred Baluku Kamusedee, an administrator with the popular bus company said when the bus, registration number UBP 415C was descending into Rwimi valley at around 1.30 am, suspected oils had spilled along the road, making it slippery and hard for the bus to break.
Mr. Wilfred who thanked God for the lives of the passengers, some of whom are at Mt. St. Mary’s hospital in Kasese municipality, said the situation was worsened by a Sino-Truck that had overturned on the road near the same valley. Mt. Wilfred speaking……
